Alert / SIS alert

An SIS alert is a notification that the officer checking the person / vehicle / object will need to take the further initial action noted on the PNC screen

An article refers to the nature of the alert held on the SIS. UK law enforcement will be alerted to alerts on articles 95, 97, 98, 99, 100
